Breakthrough

Breakthrough is a VIAS initiative that aims to break down barriers faced by people with learning disabilities and autistic people in their everyday lives.

Through collaborative working with individuals, families, and organisations, Breakthrough identifies practical solutions to the challenges that prevent full participation in community life.

What we focus on

• Removing barriers to accessing services
• Supporting self-advocacy and self-determination
• Building partnerships between disabled people and service providers
• Sharing learning and best practice across Scotland
